Foundation Book Store
The Foundation Bookstore is located inside the San Ramon Library at Marketplace. We have a vast selection of gently used books in multiple genres, including fiction, mystery, general non-fiction, autobiographies and memoirs, business, sports, travel, self-help, parenting, science, reference books and cookbooks. Come by and see our extensive collection of children’s books for all ages.
All funds raised through bookstore sales support the San Ramon and Dougherty Station libraries.
Bookstore Hours:
Monday — Library closed.
Tuesday — 10:00am to 7:30pm
Wednesday — 10:00am to 7:30pm
Thursday — 10:00am to 7:30pm
Friday — 10:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday — 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday — Library closed.
Volunteer at the Bookstore
We are looking for people to join our bookstore team. If you are looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community two to three hours a week, this could be it! We can only be open if we have volunteers, so please come help!

The bookstore is now accepting donations of new and used books in clean, saleable condition.
Please note that we have now STOPPED ACCEPTING donations of CDs, DVDs and Audiobooks.
We Always Want:
New, Used & Vintage Books in clean, saleable condition.
Items we do not accept:
CDs, DVDs, and Audio Books.
VHS tapes
Encyclopedia Sets
Textbooks, Business, Computer, or Health-related books more than 5 years old
Time-Life Book sets, Bibles, or Dictionaries
Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
Magazines
Books damaged by mold, mildew, smoke, or water.
Donations are accepted Tuesday — Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. The earlier, the better!
IMPORTANT!
Please bring your donations to the bookstore.
Please DO NOT leave them outside the library.
We reserve the right to refuse or discard unsuitable items.
