Each year The California Park & Recreation Society’s Awards Program recognizes the outstanding achievements of agencies and individuals in the areas of community improvements and programming, facility design and park planning, marketing and communications, and professional and citizen leadership.

This year the San Ramon Library Renovation Project was selected as the Outstanding Facility by the California Park and Recreation Society District 3 Friday February 23, 2018 at a luncheon in the City of Albany. Both Nancy Kreiser Acting Deputy County Librarian, and Steve Piersol, Program Manager accepted the award on behalf of the City.

The award is a tribute to the City, the City Council who supported the project and the Working Group who assisted the City with the design and concepts which lead to the City receiving this award.

We are thankful to our supporters and the dedicated membership. Our success is only sustainable through their present and continued support. The following list includes supporters who contributed $500 and more during our campaign in 2017 – Jazz Gala.
